Lock Boxes
Our biggest request from seasoned Realtors is to get Supra keybox access so that we can open and close the house using Supra. We have thought long and hard about this decision, but have decided in the near term to NOT get Supra. The reason is very simple - cost!!
Supra (more specifically, the iBox) is the most common keybox system you see on most homes listed for sale in Texas. The blue box is available only to Realtors and can be opened with a mobile device and/or Displaykey remote. To use a Displaykey you need to subscribe to Supra service which means joining the local board of Realtors that has their own membership dues. While we are fully licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission, joining the board to get MLS and Supra keybox access is prohibitively expensive when we don't proactively buy and sell resale homes. This expense would add thousands of dollars each year to the cost of doing business.

Working with Us
Most of our clients will have us host an open house for their listing 2-3 times during the listing period. If you plan on using our services in this manner, it makes sense to put a combo lockbox on the property when you first put the property on the market. Many agents will put both a Supra box and combo keybox at the property. If two boxes cannot fit on the front door handle you can get a chain and wrap this around the gas meter pipe, fence post, or handle to the backyard fence door with the combo lockbox. Listed below are some options that we have seen:
- Toor lockbox
- Master Lock push button combination lockbox
- Igloohome Smart Keybox
- Need a chain for your lockbox? Try Schlage's security chain
