New Home Construction Realtor vs. The New Home Sales Manager
The person in the model home can be called many things – Builder Sales Manager, New Home Sales Rep, New Home Consultant, or something else. Whatever the title, they have a lot of work to do for not just you, but every new home buyer in the community.

New Home Builder Sales Rep
  • The Builder Rep’s primary role is to help sell the community, educate you on their available products, and get your home built on the lot you choose.
  • The builder rep is focused on helping you find the best home from their list of floorplans at that one community.
  • Many builder sales managers run the floorplan selection meeting, but they can’t attend every inspection and walk-thru at your property nor take pictures.
  • The builder rep has to worry about hundreds of new home buyers in their community.
  • The builder rep has to focus on the project management of getting the community built, they may not have every answer on schools, commute times and things outside of the community.

New Home Construction Realtor
  • A new home buyer agent can act as a personal concierge service for you while finding a new home community, through the construction process, and after closing.
  • They can work across all communities and builders to find you the right home in the right community.
  • A new home buyer agent can attend critical meetings including the ones at your homesite.
  • A new home agent may even provide value added services like photos during construction.
  • Think of a new home buyer's agent as a second set of eyes and ears dedicated solely to your new home.
